In a very short time, through Tall Tales Tours, Toby has gained a reputation as an incredible local story teller, able to bring to life the forgotten characters and unexpected truths that lie beneath the surface.
He reveals the hidden stories, the quiet details, and there are many of those in Gorey!
This tour will focus on the width and breadth of the story of Gorey, from its role as a strategic defence post, to it’s fishing and farming history and its role within the rich food history of the island.
We will gather at The Moorings from 5pm, ready to depart at 5.30pm.
There will be little stops along the way to wet the appetite before returning to The Moorings for a 3-course dinner, again celebrating our location and coastal surroundings.
The price per person is £100, to include the full tour, refreshments along the way, dinner and service on the night.
