Global Flavours with a Gallic twist!
Our kitchen team is led by Grant, a classically French-trained Chef from Cape Town, South Africa.
Undoubtedly we take strong Gallic influence from our French neighbours just a short hop away, but we also like to throw in inspirations from our travels, and of course, a little Scandinavian twist where possible.
Our menus are produce-led, following the seasons. Being a small family business we like to support other small local family businesses, and source food locally wherever possible.
We are open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.
On Sundays throughout the winter we are open for relaxed, long Sunday lunches, kicked off by a Bloody Mary in front of our roaring fire. Slow roasted shoulder of lamb with all the trimmings, is all de rigeur!
In spring and summer we switch the oven off, replacing roasts with the best of local crustacea and Jersey Royals. Simplicity at its best!
